Samsung Nepal has launched the Galaxy S26 FE (8GB/256GB) in Nepal at a retail price of NPR 119,999, introducing the latest Fan Edition smartphone with upgraded camera capabilities, Galaxy AI features and the company's latest One UI 9 software.

The Galaxy S26 FE is the first model in the Galaxy S26 lineup to launch with One UI 9, according to Samsung Nepal. The company has positioned the device as a thinner and lighter option that brings selected flagship Galaxy experiences to a wider range of consumers.

The smartphone is available in Pistachio, Graphite and Blueberry colour options.

Enhanced camera and video features

Samsung has upgraded the camera experience on the Galaxy S26 FE with a triple rear-camera setup and enhanced image processing. The device supports 3x optical zoom, while Samsung's Nightography technology is designed to improve image quality in low-light conditions.

The smartphone also introduces My FanCam, a feature first introduced on Samsung's latest foldable devices. The feature automatically tracks a selected person and keeps them centered in the frame by adjusting the video composition as the subject moves.

For video recording, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock is designed to produce smoother and more level footage, particularly when recording fast-moving activities.

Galaxy AI gets more personalized

The Galaxy S26 FE runs on One UI 9 and includes updated Galaxy AI features designed to provide more context-aware assistance.

Samsung has also updated Now Brief, which provides users with personalized information through briefing cards. The feature includes information such as weather and wellness insights, while users can create customized cards using simple prompts.

Samsung said the updated experience is designed to adapt more closely to users' routines and provide relevant information throughout the day.

Exchange bonus and Google AI Pro included

Samsung Nepal is offering several benefits with the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE. Customers can receive an exchange bonus of up to NPR 8,000, which Samsung said can help reduce the upfront payment when upgrading from an existing device.

The company is also offering a six-month complimentary subscription to Google AI Pro, stated to be worth NPR 18,351. The device can also be purchased through a 24-month EMI plan starting at NPR 3,256 per month.

Samsung Nepal Senior Director for Mobile eXperience (MX) Business Pranaya Ratna Sthapit said the Galaxy S26 FE has been designed around the features that matter most in users' everyday lives.

“Galaxy S26 FE is purposefully designed to deliver the signature strengths of the Galaxy S series, ensuring that every feature makes a meaningful difference in users’ daily lives,” Sthapit said.

With the Galaxy S26 FE, Samsung is targeting consumers seeking a combination of flagship-style camera and AI capabilities with a lower price point within the Galaxy S lineup.
